The Diamede Islands, Big Diamede (Russian territory) on the left, and Little Diamede (US) to the right. A resident of Little Diamede says they used to go up on top, and shoot at the Russians on Big Diamede a couple miles away on July 4th, or when they were mad about something. After we made the turn towards Kotzebue, the weather cleared more, and I got a picture of Cape Dezhneva on the Russian Mainland. Now where did I put that picture?
