Heading out to meet some crabbers, and the ice is quite a bit meaner than it was yesterday. It took us 4 hours to go 3 miles. It was decided to turn back to St. Paul, as the crab boats wouldn't have been able to follow us in. What took us 4 hours to go out through took us 8 hours to get back to port through. Our first hint of how fast things could change.
