These are some pics from a recent trip to Colorado.


I flew into Denver Thursday afternoon, and spent Thursday and Friday roaming around and getting used to the altitude.   Went to Garden of the Gods Thursday evening.
Fantastic scenery.   But, I forgot my camera.

Friday morning, we went out east, and walked through the Paint Mines Park.
These are the pics I took.

Friday evening, we hiked through Red Rocks Park.

Saturday morning, we left Colorado Springs, and went through Buena Vista to Twin Lakes.   Went to the top of Independence Pass.

Dropped back down through Twin Lakes, then north through Leadville, and over Fremont Pass.

Spent Saturday night in Frisco.   Sunday morning, crossed the Divide on Interstate 70, and hopped off at Georgetown.   Found a place to park on Guanella Pass, and went for a little stroll up the side of the mountain.
