The hanging flume is just one of the high points on this sign. Others include a rare butterfly at the Unaweep Seep, and the Ute Indian Museum in Montrose, among others. That's Grand Junction there at the top of the map, and down the right-hand road (US Highway 50/550) is Delta, Montrose, and then Ridgway, where we started the loop to the left, or west through Placerville, Norwood, Naturita, Uravan, Unaweep, and back to US50 at Gateway.
