You city folks should recognize this. My guide said it was a 'bus stop', where miners and mill workers would wait on a wagon to take them to Ophir and Telluride, where awaited fast whiskey, cheap wimmen (or was it cheap whiskey and fast wimmen??), and shady characters of all stripe to relieve them of their wages.
