About 3 weeks ago, I drove up to Montrose from Louisiana. Spent the night in Walsenburg, And took Colorado 10 through Gardiner, and saw a ton of elk, and deer, and buffalo. Sorry, the pictures got deleted off my computer. Anyway, it was still a bit brisk - 21F when I left the motel, and it kept dropping as I climbed into the mountains. I saw a buffalo laying about 10 yards on the other side of a fence, and since I never had gotten any shots of one, I figgered no time like the present.
