Look at the map, you can see where we are, there at the bottom at the Wooden Shoe Arch. Going clockwise, you have the Needles close to us, then Cedar Mesa Sandstone. Past that is Cataract Canyon just downstream from The Grabems.
I'll let you think about how those two got their names.
Just to the right of The Grabems is the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers, almost due west of us. The Green runs along the 'top' of the map, while the Colorado runs down the middle. Between them is Grand View Point, and Island in the Sky. Back almost to us, due north is The Needles Overlook.
