Northern Lights 13 Sep. 2010...my first good look at them with a camera.   No, they ain't 'magazine quality', but YOU try shooting them with a 1 to 4 second exposure from a tug in 2 to 4 foot seas.   The line of squiggly lights in a couple of them is the town of Kotzebue, Alaska.   We were about 10 miles offshore.
