Beauty and the Beast.   We left Homer the 28th of June, and had very poor visibility, sometimes less than 400 feet, until yesterday afternoon.   A golden sunset, and a few hours later, sunrise 5 July, 2010.   The beast was 30 - 35 knot winds that came up about sunrise, and 8 to 15 foot seas that delayed our trip north.
